Go Reds!

Went for a visit to the Red's Hall of Fame today with my dad and I must say, it makes me proud to be a Red. The museum was quite informative of it's history, etc. There were also some neat interactive things in there. One that had me pitch to a strikezone and my dad was the umpire at home plate and had to see if he could call a ball or strike properly. It's not as easy as you'd think it'd be. First time I've thrown from a mound in quite a while. I did feel a quite stinge in my arm, but it's all good...nothing too serious haha. Makes me wish I still played, but getting older, the teams I played on were nothing, but politics. So fuck 'em. Fuck them in their stupid asses.

There was a "Wall of Balls" (teehee) with all 4,192 balls hit by none other than Pete Rose himself. Overall, the museum was very interesting. It had all the Red's history from the formation of the team in 1869 up through the Big Red Machine in the '70s to the '90 World Series win with the likes of the "Nasty Boyz" bullpen, Chris Sabo, Eric Davis, Barry Larkin, etc. And all the way up to today's team with Griffey, Jr., Casey, Dunn, Kearns, Larkin, Freel.

I also found out that it's actually a tradition for the Red's to play their first game of the season at home...and here all this time I thought it was just merely a stroke of luck every year to be home haha. I love baseball.

While there, I ended up getting a red Dunn jersey. Rawr.

Peace

Somtimes silence is all that can work

I went outside last night (this morning), decided to smoke one of my cigars, and it was one of the most peaceful nights I haven't seen in a long time. Only ambient noises in the far distance, but no cars, no busses, no drunk college people, no thunderous bass noises, no yelling at a video game...just me and the starry-filled sky. I wish there were more nights like that in my life...just it only being around 75 degrees and a slight breeze and that'd be a perfect night for moi.

A few more thrown in the mix...thanks Ryan ;-)

Ok...due to a few errors on my part with editing some of the html code with frontpage and them reformatting the code, I forget the blogger window factors in all the spaces that coding doesn't recognize, yadda yadda and it looked really shitty. So I just saved it and put it on my webspace to look "normal". Here's the things I filled out from one of Ryan's latests posts...uggghhh. Survey things

So I was like, "Hells yeah"

Got an email about rooming assignments for next year and from the looks of it, Eric and I are gonna be rooming together. It didn't say which room or who with, but it said the building, floor, and type of room. Eric had the same on his email so I'm pretty sure that means we're together. I'll die if we're not. And assuming Dan stays here next year, he'll be living on the same floor in a super-double too. Hell, maybe across the hall from Eric and me. I'm pretty psyched about all this shizzle.

Eric and I were thinking of going to Nazi Germ... Amelia High School to visit Conway and stuff over break or whichever. It'll be fun. I'll try to avoid talking about the AP test though since I got a 1 on it...whoopdee friggin' do for me, but I'm sure Conway was bummed about it haha.

My MP3 collection has reached a total of 5,276 files worth 20.5 GB. All of these either being from AllofMP3.com, ripped from myself or others, or by "other" means... and I'll just leave it at that. I still need to rip all the ones I want from Eric and Ryan; only then will I have the ultimate music collection on my computer. Fear it. Look out 40 GB iPod, here I come. Now only if I had something like those uber collections of classical music offered by TimeLife, but they be expensive. Like always though, all my music can be downloaded at http://jedimaster0014.kicks-ass.org. This might not work for some because the network here at OSU is gay and usually won't let that work, but it might work when I'm at home.

I watched The O.C. for the first and last time EVER this past Thursday for the sole reason of being able to see the Episode III Theatrical Trailer and all I have to say is, this movie is going to be FUCKING AWESOME!!!!111

Something funny is that I've kind of been in the mood to play some SWG because from the looks of it they've done some improvements on it and whatnot... if I were to ever play again I wouldn't be the loot whore anymore. The only problem is that I gave my account and shit to a friend of mine from my old clan, BHC, who wanted to give to a friend of his to play. I had Jedi unlocked and everything and had lots of credits. If I were to ever play, I'd probably only PvP and contribute to any good guild out there. I regret not ever having the chance to get serious PvP action for the longest time. Talk about doing the wrong thing at the wrong place at the wrong time. Damn it all to hell, but alas, some other guy has my account so if I ever wanted to play, I'd probably have to get a new account :(.

On a side note, Dan and I ordered cables that can turn our Xbox controllers into a PC controller, which'll work great for my emulators and anything else.

Peace out

Work for spring break

After reformatation... my new job for spring break is re-adding ALLLL of those movie quotes back onto my away messages again. Stupid AIM.

Monday, March 07, 2005

Stupid? Yes... Idiotic? Yes...

This weekend I've just been adding tons of movie quotes to my away messages. Pretty much quotes from every movie I own. People have their music lyrics, random and obscure away messages, actual messages pertaining to what they're actually conciously doing, inside joke messages...but for me I'm making it movie quotes. Nothing does it better for me than a funny or witty or deep or just plain awesome movie quote.

I also ended up ordering a 120 gig western digital hdd for any and all file backup on my computer. A couple things have been going a little strange on my computer and I'm getting SICK OF IT.
