Well the results are in

Now that the first quarter is over with, the grades are in and they are actually a little better than I expected...especially for my computer science class.

Spanish 102.66: A-
Math 150: A-
CSE 201: B+
Survey: S

Overall my GPA is 3.54 for now. I have a total of 20 credit hours including the EM credit I got for Chemistry 121 for passing my AP chem test, I guess? Sure I might be smarter than your average bear, but with my work ethic (for schoolwork, at least) I'll always be a B student. If you were to sit me in a solitary cell with my schoolwork, then maybe...just maybe I'd be an A student. I guess that explains why I was such a great employee at Hollywood video...there wasn't anything else for me to do other than work. No video games to distract me and shit like that.

Whenever I do get a nice job and start making some of that preverbial fat cash, I might go explore other countries and stay there for a little bit at a time and actually do something with my life. Probably head to the countries I want to visit on my to-do list.

Now that Ryan's home, we can do some hangin'.

It's my birthday...my b-b-b-birthday.

Making me 19...no milestone or anything, but that makes me one year closer to the ultimate milstone of 21 :P.

On a side note

I have begun rehab for MMORPGers Annonymous or simply MMORPGA. In all seriousness, I have taken a step back from Star Wars Galaxies and have cancelled my subscription. After a little over a year of gameplay, "leveling up" my character wasn't really all that fun anymore so my Jedi character, millions of credits, hundreds of rare items, etc. will all be gone in a few months when they do a server sweep. A couple of my real-life friends stopped playing and the clan I was in and had lots of friends in starting growing distant from one another, nobody logged on, etc. etc. Besides, college is much better without it...I've got Halo 2 right here in front of me, I've started playing KOTOR again and dammit I'm going to beat it this time, other assorted games I may play from borrowing and/or downloading, one hell of a playlist to listen to on my computer, and other... ummm... stuff to focus on.

So I survived...no big whoop. Talk amongst yourselves.

It's obviously been a while since I've posted, but I figure that the end of my first quarter at college deserved a blog post.

After my Math 150 exam tonight at 5:30 pm the Autumn '04 quarter here at OSU is at a close. Wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be...maybe just the getting up early part, but I must say I've become much more responsible living here by myself.

As for x-mas break, it's going to be grand because it'll be nice and long AND there's no work for me to do or stupid book for me to read. My x-mas list consists of nothing but DVDs so it's all good in the neighborhood. It'll be good to be home. See family, friends, and hopefully my cousin who goes to Full Sail in Florida (directing school).

Upcoming classes for next quarter:
Engineering 181
Physucks 109
German 399 (it's a film and literature class on the holocaust, not the language :P)
Math 151

Looks to be such a fantastic quarter.

As for the new song, it's from one of my new favorite bands Rammstein even though they've been around for a while. After downloading their entire discography they're just great to listen to. Not sure what anyone else thinks of them, but that doesn't matter. Deutsch ist über!
