What else can I say other than the Red's bullpen stinks. They ruined a perfectly good Father's Day this past Sunday when my father and I went to our first game of the year. Although we didn't score at all, the game was at least within reach by the time they took Harang out of the game (just a 3-run deficit). Then when they bring in the bullpen, the lead for the White Sox fucking blows up to an 8-run deficit. Two of the runs were a direct result of Esteban Yan giving up a homerun to... get this... Jon Garland, THE PITCHER. A pitcher from the American League who will probably swing the bat no more than 3 times this year, as a result of Interleague play. One of these swings being a homerun.

I swear there has to be some kind of conspiracy between all of our relief pitchers because it can't get any worse when Todd Coffey, someone who had an ERA below 1.00 through the first two months, is now starting to give up runs almost as frequently as the other cock mongeling motherfuckers in the bullpen.

After watching the result of tonight's game, which is currently still running, anytime I see Jerry Narron pull the starting pitcher (no matter what the score is), I just know we're going to lose. Tonight's game Joe Mays with his first start of the year gave up only two runs through six innings pitched and was leading 4-2 when taken out. We bring in Chris Hammond to take his spot on the mound and he manages to give up 3 hits and 3 runs (including the lead) all in 1 inning of work.

I swear to God it has been this way for the past 10 games where the bullpen insures us of our loss even if there was the remote possibility of either A) keeping the lead or B) come from behind after being down a couple runs and winning late in the game.

Fuck you Weathers.

Fuck you Hammond.
Fuck you Yan.

Look at my super awesome desktop... and no that's not a mirage at the bottom of the screen. I play World of Warcraft now. Hey, it's a good game. So much better than SWG was, but if this game only somehow had a game like it with just a Star Wars skin to it then it'd be the only game I play in my entire life.
