10

The number of weeks until summer break.

I go back tomorrow and there's a part of me that really doesn't want to. It's because I know what's in store of the weeks to come. Homework, lab, homework, lab, midterm, homework... you get the point. This quarter I had better not fucking fail anything. In fact, I hope I never fail anything ever again. Nothing makes me feel more defeated than failing a class.

George Carlin was pretty good. Apparently Eric had heard almost all of it on HBO so I guess that's the only benefit for not having it. I'm not surprised though because of all the comedy I've seen, when I see a comedian do stand-up at two different venues there is always something they repeat. Jim Gaffigan, Dane Cook, Dave Chappelle, Pablo Francisco, and in this case, Carlin. There's a limit to everything.

His opening act, Dennis Blair, was hilarious and a little funnier because I'm a fan of laugh out loud comedy. There are many types of comedy and I enjoy most of them. Carlin isn't so much lol comedy though some of the things he says are hilarious. Most of the time it's pretty sick, but that doesn't mind me. For instance, here's a nice little joke he told us.

The little 5-year old daughter walks into the bathroom and asks the dad, "Daddy, when am I going to get a penis?" and the dad replies, "Just as soon as mommy leaves."

Fuck morals.

I find that funny and anyone who thinks it's "wrong" can fucking choke themselves.

It's getting late and I still have to pack up my clothes. Dan gets his 360 Monday so all hell breaks loose on the Internet that day.
