Wrap it up
It feels so awkward not having a computer with internet access at my fingertips every waking minute, but I guess that's a good thing. Though the only problem is not being able to regularly communicate with Dan. I only get to use this computer upstairs late at night because it's my sister who's on the computer with internet access every waking minute.
Spring break is what it is... a "break." A break from classes for a change, not having to do homework seemingly every single day for 3 or 4 hours at a time. I found out my grades and the results are as follows:
- Rifle Shooting I: A (really, really easy and highly recommended to take for any easy 1 credit of an elective)
- Math 366: B+ (easy enough, but go difficult at the end. Avoid Professor Nagassie at all costs. Was late to both midterms and late to nearly every class that's only on MWF. Also, really sucked at teaching and didn't speak perfect english.)
- Physics 132: B- (I'm as surprised as you are.)
- Math 254: E (Not all that surprised. Saddened that I failed my first class in my entire life and pissed off I have to take it again next year. This was mostly as a result of my professor being a total douchebag and cutting students 0 slack when it comes to grades.)
Lately I've been playing a lot of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Burnout Revenge for the 360. GRAW I just decided to buy because I've really been needing a new game besides fucking Perfect Dark Zero, which sucked so much ass and was probably the biggest disappointment in gaming history for me. While I was out, I also purchased Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion because I thought the game looked really awesome. I remember the third one being really neat, but I think I just didn't have the attention span to play it at the time. Soon enough I'll be sending Burnout and GRAW back to GameFly and be getting in Quake 4 and The Outfit soon enough. Isn't like I have much of a choice right now for 360 titles.
The last few days I've been hittin' up a bunch of retail stores looking for a Premium Xbox 360 with Dan because dammit he needs one, but to no avail there haven't been any at all. The 360 certainly is a shroud of secrecy if I've ever seen one. Another problem... the asshole eBayers who find this shit in masses, buy them all and have them up on eBay with the price marked up by %250 before the general public even have a chance to wake up and have breakfast. Though recently I just found out Dan had been able to purchase one from Bestbuy.com and will be delivered hopefully by Saturday.
So awesome.
To cap off our Spring Break, we're going to all go see George Carlin up at the Taft Theater on Friday at 8:00 pm. I'm hoping it'll be a good show.
P.S. Bought an awesome DVD-burner at MicroCenter a few days ago for really cheap. Has LiteScribe technology which lets your engrave pictures and text on the top of the CD or DVD. Just can't wait to install it and see how it performs next to my no-name Dell burner o'crap.
