Taking Some Time Off
YES!!! Spring break has finally arrived; undoubtedly, one of the most anticipated events for any student enrolled at any school. Just like every student’s cherished Christmas break during the wintertime; the short, yet festive 2-day break for Thanksgiving during the fall; and the über-break during the summertime, none are as publicized and well-known like that of the spring break. Spring break is the one thing that can terminate the seemingly endless loophole of school days after winter break is said and done. For high school students, spring break is nothing more than just a free week off of school with time to chill, take a load off, go on vacation, not live with any worries of “Oh my God, I forgot to study!” and “That project was due today!?!?” Comparing this to a college student, however, spring break is their height of glory for them. It seems like there’s an infinite amount of college students migrating in hoards to hot spots around the globe, especially Cancun, Mexico. MTV does a spring break special every single year and, even though I don’t watch it any more, spring break + Cancun + MTV = Massively huge orgy of craziness; so many naïve girls, so many frisky guys…a little too much happens while on spring break if you know what I mean ::nudge nudge::. For me, on the other hand, spring break is going to end up being half and half of fun and school. Mrs. Wilburn is giving us a practice AP test to work on over the break and there are also plans of Peter, Casey, Eric, and myself to get together and work on Wilburn’s trimester project by watching Eric Brokovich…yay! We’re doing some project on hexavalent chromium; don’t ask me what it is because I haven’t a clue. For some reason I think I’ve been infected with “Senioritis already, but o well.
P.S. -I'll probably just start posting my ERMAs for content...hehe
